Your Friendly Neighborhood Pedophile Part 1

I reside in Denton, a small Texas city with a population of less than 100,000, known for its music, arts, and education. It has beautiful parks, Dixiecrat politics, and a reputation for embracing self-exiled eccentrics like myself.

However, the city of Denton is also home to 27 people who have a couple of things in common. They were all convicted of sex-crimes against children 13 and under (some as young as 4 years old). And they were all sentenced to no jail or prison time.

I couldn't believe this deplorable phenomenon was restricted to the city of Denton alone, so I checked. Sure enough, it's happening all over Denton County and the State of Texas. In fact, this is occurring all over the United States!

Why does this happen? Do we not have the resources to lock away child predators? We certainly have enough resources to arrest nearly 1 million people for marijuana offenses every year. Many people charged with drug crimes in the land of the free will serve months, years, even decades behind bars.

So why does this injustice persist? Have our legislators become so focused on the drug war that they care more about "sending the right message to children" than preventing children from being sexually brutalized? Abducted? Buried alive? Remember Jessica Lunsford? Or was she just so many pixels on the television screen?

How about Shasta Groene? Her mother and two brothers were bludgeoned to death by a sick man named Joseph Duncan, who abducted Shasta for seven weeks, repeatedly violating her. Before the murders and abduction of Shasta, Duncan had been convicted of raping a 14 year-old boy at gunpoint, then accused of sexually assaulting a six year-old boy. At which point, Becker County District Judge Thomas Schroeder released Duncan on $15,000 bail! I know cases where people received higher bail for growing cannabis plants.

So tell me, Judge Schroeder... Did you lube the county coffers with some of that good ole greenback? Did you forget about protecting the public? Is that question unfair, Judge? Get over it. As Shasta herself might tell you, life is unfair.
Step down from the bench before the people throw you out with their votes. Case closed.

Ahem... Back now, folks.

Don't take my word on all this. Check your local sex offender databases. Then get busy holding your District Attorneys, County Judges, and legislators accountable for their misplaced priorities. Picket their offices with photos of the vicious criminals they've set loose on our streets.

I leave you with a series of photos in part two of this entry. These are 25 of the 27 (the final two wouldn't fit) pedos in my neighborhood, all guilty of sex-crimes against children 13 and under (if you include victims ages 14 and 15, the total comes to 37), none of them sentenced to jail time. And I'll warn all those predators right here and now... Keep your paws off my kids. And remember: The pen is mightier than the sword.

Be sure to kiss your kids tonight, America. Sleep tight. Or wake up. Your choice...

All I have to say is this--how about we ship all of these piss poor needle dicks on off to an island where they can play dress up and pretend their fellow pedophile's are five year olds?

I pay enough in taxes to just keep them fed in jail--how about we just give 'em one big fricken' buffet?

I found your blog through your post on the ASA list.. It's nice to find someone trying to educate people on the messed up priorities of our legal system. What you also should point out though, is that many of the drug "criminals" are given stiffer jail sentences than pedophiles for committing victimless crimes.
